Road Safety Driving Centre
Archilinea developed the entire area of the Autodromo di Modena race circuit in an integrated project. From the project proposal to the solution of the complex analyses for the environmental impact assessment down to the design of the race circuit and sports structures supplied with the project: Autodromo di Modena is a centre of excellence in the field of automotive technology in the municipality of Modena. The project was developed from the idea to unite the innate automotive vocation of the territory with the desire to create one of the most advanced test circuits in Europe: the new circuit offers advanced technological solutions to allow drivers to benefit from the latest ideas and teachings in the area of safe driving techniques. The site is located in Marzaglia, just outside Modena. Inaugurated in Marzaglia in 2011, the track is a 2.007 km ‘didactic’ circuit. Alongside the track stands a building for track support activities including the road safety school classrooms, telemetry data centres and pit garages.
