From Warehouse to technological core of Lamborghini Manifacture.
Technology and Elegance fuse together in one of the flagship project of Italian Industry 4.0.
The Urus Assembly Line is born from a former warehouse building. Today, enlarged and totally reorganized externally and in its contents, it hosts the new assembly line dedicated to the first Super SUV in the world.
The North Façade, that characterizes the main road axes, connects the assembly line to the neighbouring Finishing building and also highlights the key role of the two buildings inside the new industrial enlargement.
The design choices and the material used, like polycarbonate, resins, sandwich panels and ceramics, are consistent with brand feeling and represent a point of reference for all the other future buildings of the compound.
The internal layout follows the technological needs of the assembly line that is served by auxiliary areas like changing rooms, break areas, offices and technical areas.
Inside the double height productive area, characterized by clean volumes and clear surfaces, an hexagonal-generated volume stands out: the Olimpo.
This area has the function to lead the guests in a real-life experience of Lamborghini Manifattura. From this area is possible to see the whole assembly line through wide glass surfaces.
All the design choices have been Taken in order to ensure high quality standards inside working areas, also thanks to a BIM design which allowed a perfect joint between structure, systems, technologies and workers dedicated areas.
