SEW-EURODRIVE Drive Technology Center | Construction Update Site

The construction of SEW EURODRIVE Italia's new Drive Technology Center, designed by Archilinea in the productive heart of Motor Valley and strategically located along the A14 motorway is proceeding according to schedule. The work has reached a stage of significant consolidation, giving the building a clear outline. The glass facade has been completed, while the installation of the sunshade fins is more than three-quarters complete. The production area and the main interior works has been completed as well: plasterboards, railing, false ceilings and glass walls are almost finalized, clearly outlining the layout of the spacial organization and the quality of the working environments. Furthermore, finishing works in the service areas have begun with the laying of tiles, while the offices still need to be completed with floorings and furniture. At the same time, the construction site is expanding outward, where work on the construction of canopies and paved surfaces have begun. With a total area of 14.000 sqm and an investment exceeding 30 million euros, the Drive Technology Center will house production spaces, offices, co-engineering areas and a Drive Academy, establishing itself as a strategic hub for training, research and development. This projects interprets the principles of Industry 5.0, placing innovation, workplace quality, and sustainability at its core. As it nears its scheduled completion this summer, the project confirms Archilinea's vision for contemporary, ethical and future-oriented industrial architecture.
